Wang Dong road reconstruction project by the Changzhou municipal road length 1593M second branch of the construction of the pedestrian plate adopts the water permeable brick, considering the construction quality of pavement permeable bricks will directly affect the overall image of road engineering and evaluation of the whole project, therefore, the second branch before construction, set up a QC group to strengthen the control and management of construction quality of pavement of water permeable brick.

According to the regulation of water permeable brick pavement technology (CJJ/T 188-2012), after QC group meeting, we decided to 50 meters of construction test section qualified rate test, test results show that the water permeable brick with an acceptance rate of only 81%.

To this end, the QC team from many aspects such as personnel, material, machine, method and environment analysis, has taken the following measures of quality control: we use the CAD software according to the inspection wells around the corner, the laying of joints under material shape calculation, simulation of shaped brick decoration, so as to ensure the accuracy of water permeable brick laying special parts; in addition, we strengthen the management of site acceptance material quality control and material certificate, check material factory inspection report and the type of inspection report, at the same time the geometry, the permeability of material is strictly controlled; during the construction process, we strengthen the permeable brick laying straight seam width, and the degree of control the uneven settlement, focus on pouring and curing. Through the implementation of a series of measures, in the construction process of nearly a month, we accumulated permeable brick laying sidewalks 1320m2, after the QC team invites owners and supervisors for acceptance, acceptance of accumulated 1241 points, 1198 points qualified, unqualified point number is 43, the qualified rate is 97%.

Through the QC group activities, the members of the construction quality control awareness has been enhanced, the construction of permeable brick has a more rational understanding, and enhance the technical and collaborative QC team. In the future of the construction process, we will be more active in QC activities, so that QC activities in the field of subject matter is more extensive and deeper, and strive to make QC activities for the project to make greater contributions to the construction.
